www.roithner - laser.com 3 operating mode description pcb - m driver - p driver works in a p ulse mode. this mode provides led maximum p eak optical power . led current , pulse duration and frequency are fixed to 2 a, 5 s and 2 k hz . p ulse mode current - time relation operating instruction 1. securely solder the appropriate pins of the led with led connection contacts (1). note! contact marked with led + must be connected to the appropriate pin of an led (marked with a red dot). improper connection may cause led damage. note! led case must be electrically isolated from the ground. 2. if you use pcb - sdetect - 3p synchronous detector , connect the pcb - mdriver - p s synchronization output contacts (2) with synchronization input terminal block. 3. if necessary, make all the connections of other boards (synch ronous detector, thermocontroller etc.) following the appropriate instructions manuals. before turning them on check the required connections and modes: synchronous detector : thermocontroller : ? p hotodiode input connection ? p reamplifier power output connection ? a veraging time and signal gain selection ? external s ignal observing device connection ? thermistor / pcb - driver - 51 temperature observation block input connection ? thermocooler output connection ? external connections (if necessary) 4. connect 5v stabilised power supply to the power input (3). synchronisation output c ontacts synchronisation input terminal block pcb - mdrive - p pcb - sdetect - 3p
